Overview

Troubleshooting and network analysis are key tasks of maintaining any network. This course, designed by Echelon's application engineers, teaches advanced troubleshooting skills to those maintaining a LonWorks based network. Learn how to test networks and identify problems with the LonMaker Integration Tool, and how to view critical information, analyze network statistics, examine details of a LonWorks communication packet, and report data with the LonScanner Protocol Analyzer.

Course Prerequisites

  • Working knowledge of Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP
  • Completion of the following eTraining courses found at www.echelon.com/training/etraining/
    • Introduction to the LonWorks Platform
    • Smart Transceivers and Neuron Processors
    • Introduction to Neuron C Programming
  • Completion of the LonWorks Network Design Course or equivalent experience with LonWorks network design
