For standalone installations (<200 devices), the i.LON SmartServer acts as a network management device; for larger or remotely managed networks, it works seamlessly with our LNS network database. In standalone mode, the server automatically installs devices that you attach to the network. After that, you can configure, upgrade, replace, and test them just as you would with LNS. If you use an LNS database, however, the i.LON SmartServer can access it directly. No matter which method you choose, installation is fast, centralized, and affordable, without any extra integration work. Programmability. Expand the i.LON SmartServer's feature set by writing customized applications—for energy optimization, data analysis, and room and lighting control, for example. The server can run up to 10 simultaneous custom programs.
